Stored energy two-axis free gyroscope
Two-axis free gyroscope actuated by gas stored energy. Operates for at least 100 seconds. Specially designed to meet the need for high accuracy short & medium range missions. The G-2165 has potentiometers on its inner and outer gimbals. A remote electrical pulse is used to actuate a pressure squib for releasing the gas. Suitable in particular for air-to-surface, surface-to-surface, naval to ground missiles and for many other applications.
